Nagware iPhone application VoiceDial brings the power of voice
activated phone dialing and application and bookmark launching to your
iPhone.

You can record your voice samples for any contact in the addressbook
and just speak to dial the number. For doing this you should set
VoiceDial to run on the home screen button double-tap for easy access
and record voice tags up to three times to improve accuracy.

There are two significant improvements in the iPhone 1.1.3 software/firmware update which
Apple folks did not think were significant enough to inform us.

The first is an increase to the amount of SMS messages the iPhone can store. The storage limit for SMS has been increased from 1,000 to around 75,000.

iGoogle produced its new Personal Home Page and now, you can enjoy iGoogle on your iPhone as well. By this you can easily switch between Google’s popular services.

iPhone users can access it directly through http://www.google.com/ig , though it should automatically redirect you when you attempt to access iGoogle.

Knowing that the iPhone is the invention of the year (by Time) and the fact that they sold so many units worldwide can only mean this is the best mobile phone ever.

The Apple iPhone sports a nice two megapixel camera with a CMOS sensor — better than what you get with most mobile devices. But the cheap, tiny lens means that the iPhone is pretty lousy at capturing clear, detailed photos taken at ranges closer than about eight inches. In photo speak, this is called “macrophotography.”

Here’s a simple and cheap hack you can employ to take incredibly sharp and detailed close-ups with your iPhone. It also works with just about any mobile phone with a built-in camera. Your results will vary, but the trick should improve the quality of your macro photos no matter what your device.

1. Position one of the magnifier’s three lenses over the iPhone’s camera. Hold it flush against the iPhone’s body, right over the camera, like so:

The interesting thing about the new Zune 2 portable media player from Microsoft was that you could just walk in your house and as soon as your Zune got in range of your computer , it sync with your computer and you could transfer what you want between the two.
But now,ISync is a new program that will allow you to wirelessly sync a folder on your computer with your iPhone, however it is not perfectyet.
