Samsung created a phone for the fitness buff called the FIT. This cellphone comes outfitted with a tracking devise for your heartbeat. But that is just the beginning. The FIT offers a computerized trainer or program which, based on the users specifications, designs fitness plans, tells you how many calories you have burned, gives you diets lists and professional trainers’ techniques.

The different phone manufacturers have started a real “megapixel race” which has currently arrived at 5 MP.

Now Samsung has just unveiled the world’s slimmest 8MP CMOS measuring a tiny 28mm × 15.3mm × 8.5mm. But with the exclusively for mobile phones designed module, Samsung shows their will to be one of the first to release a cellphone with a 8MP camera.

Samsung Electronics Co. and German sportswear giant Adidas have teamed up for a new twist in training — a mobile phone that can coach.

This is a system, claimed to act as a personal trainer, designed to motivate and inspire you. It consists of five elements: the miCoach Samsung phone, a heart rate monitor, a stride sensor chip to fit all adidas running footwear, compatible adidas apparel and the miCoach website to create training programmes.

The miCoach phone, equipped with a stride sensor and heart rate monitor, provides a comprehensive on-the-go personal training system. The phone provides training tips and time updates, and encourages users with music tailored to the workout.

With one click, users can connect to the stride sensor and heart rate monitor and begin a workout that suits the user. A personal coach advises runners to “Speed up to power zone” or tells them that “15 minutes is completed”. Tapping the phone twice produces instant updates on the workout. The 2.0 inch LCD shows a real-time visual display of time, heart rate, distance, speed and calories burned.

Samsung unveils Soul, its new flagship slider phone. Soul is an
abbreviation of “The Spirit Of Ultra and it will appeal to
style-conscious users who are not willing to compromise between design
and technology.

It blends in a split-screen, context-sensitive touch control system
and rather than rely on fixed buttons or an entire front touch
surface, the Soul includes a small touchscreen area whose buttons
change depending on the immediate context for the screen above.

The Samung Flipshot is offered from Verizon Wireless, and it has 3 megapixels of camera With Digital Zoom and a rotating display for optimal viewing while in camera mode and camcorder action. It will be available in either red or black in Verizon Wireless communications Stores.

It has Bluetooth capability for headsets, car kits and other compatible devices. Other features include a business card reader, living wallpaper, V CAST capable, speakerphone, messaging services, VZ Navigator, as well as a personal organizer with calendar, calculator, notepad, alarm clock and world clock.

Another cellphone from Samsung Electronics. Looking like something out of a Barbie set Samsung Electronics launches two models of their Secret Color Phone Line namely models SCH-W360 and SPH-W3600 under this line in Korea.

The phones feature a two-tone scheme with the keyboards available in four different colors — blue, pink, green, and red. Adopting a vibrating touchpad, the Secret Color Phone supports up to 7.2Mbps data transfer speeds. The dual-Bluetooth is to allow media sharing with friends.

Samsung is apparently working on a new high-end smartphone behind the scenes. The image of Samsung SGH-i900 was so watermarked, that you could barely seen the phone on it, and the user interface on the picture looked nothing like the proper Windows Mobile smartphone should have.

MobiFrance reports that Samsung i900 Windows Mobile phone is indeed in the works.

Samsung Electronics presented its new limited cellphone entitled “B” phone. The “B Phone” will come preloaded with exclusive photos and videos of the superstar, Beyoncé, along with a never-released track of her belting out a tune at 10 years old.

The unique dual-face design of the “B” phone peresent the look of an MP3 player on one side and a phone on the other.

Sumsung and Giorgio Armani produced a new cellphone, designed by Armani and engineered by samsung.

As we always expect from Armani this cellphone is highly stylish and pleasant both for the eye and the hand. It is very small and thin, comes in unique color and has metal battery cover.

The touch screen model occupies most of the front side. It is a 2.6′ LCD display with QVGA resolution. Giorgio Armani logo is in front of the cellphone while the one of samsung is only on the back. The display is used for controlling of the device as both numeric and navigation keys are missing. It responds to the touch of a finger by the electricity that runs over the skin, so must be used with finger only, not with any artificial pointer (pen for example).
