Nokia Scentsory Phone

Now, it is just a very nice idea. It is always interesting to view
concept products. You never know which one will become the next big
thing.

The concept of Nokia Scentsory is quite cool actually. It is a mobile
communication device that works with the senses of smell, sight,
hearing and touch. If the concept goes into production, this phone
could truly revolutionize remote communication and interfacing.

It can also radiate colors, lighting, and temperature from the
caller’s environment. The dual-screen mobile has a LED touchpad,
speakers, hidden camera and temperature sensors. Nanotechnology has
played an important role in development of this new device.

Using highly sophisticated sensors, the electronic ‘nose’ samples the
odor of the caller’s environs and transmits this to the recipient
electronically. Kimberly Hu designs the Scentsory.

ShakeSMS: Read SMS Just by Shaking Mobile

ShakeSMS is another accelerometer powered application from the Mr Tong Ren, developer of the very well known and very popular FlipSilent application.

Shaking a phone to read text messages is as intuitive as swiping your finger across the screen to unlock it, but once you’re trained it becomes second nature. In this case, ShakeSMS is an app for Nokia phones that lets you jostle your phone to view an incoming SMS. Jigger it again to go back to the home screen.

Nokia’s virtual keyboard

Nokia have had loads of innovative ideas over the last few years but this one is the best. we are talking about a patent application called ” Mobile device with virtual keyboard”.

If it is done, there is no difficulty for data entry in a small mobile device. For reaching to this goal we need virtual keyboards or virtual input displays which project onto a work surface, the camera on the phone can capture movement and then in return position where the users fingers are and then project them on a virtual keyboard shown on the phone display in real time.

If you’re someone who’s essentially looking for a chic device to compliment your style, then the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism should be your choice!

Nokia has launched its latest addition to the Prism Collection, the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism. It has diamond-cut design with a crystal centre key, highlighting the geometric shapes and personalized style of the Prism Collection.

Nokia worked in collaboration with the creative designer Frédérique Daubal, which resulted in unique laser-etched graphic designs, distinctive wallpapers as well as exclusive accessories to the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism. The wallpapers inspired by Daubal communicate the reflection of light and capture the feel of angular prisms and triangles.

Nokia N96 Slider

As its model name implies, the N96 is the spiritual, if not official successor to the dual-sliding Nokia N95.

Instead of the plain silver or black casing of its predecessor, the Nokia N96 is going for a much more fashionable look, boasting a piano black finish not unlike the new Nokia N81 gaming phone. In fact, you’ll notice that the five-way navigator looks very similar to the other new slider phone. We’re not sure if the Nokia N96 slides downwards as well, but we imagine that it retains that functionality.
