The architectural design leaves the keyboard in an circular like state. Unlike other cellphones on the market, the screen is on the bottom and the buttons are up top. Try it out with your cellphone and see how it feels.

To open or close the Serene takes a simply gesture of ones finger, which sets off the built in motor that automatically opens the shell. Again this technique is also apparent when the Serene is on the charger and there is an incoming call or a text it will respond and open.
